I can't believe that nobody has commented on this actor. He was great. He played an insufferable ass of a boss in 'Revenge is sweet'. You'll love to hate this guy in this episode.

William Griffis was born on July 12, 1917, in Hollywood, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Remington Steele (1982), Mr. Destiny (1990) and The Magnificent Yankee (1965) He made his Broadway debut in 1952 in ''A Pin to See the Peep Show'' and went on to play many roles on and Off-Broadway. Mr. Griffis appeared in Broadway productions including ''1776,'' ''Call Me Madame,'' ''Over Here!'' and ''Oscar Wilde.' William also acted in radio serials, television shows such as Hunter, Designing Women, Santa Barbara, Dolly, Newhart, Benson, Kojak, and more and films, including the movies Ulysses and The Young Caruso. He appeared in the television version of Miracle on 34th Street and on Hallmark Hall of Fame, Armstrong Circle Theater and the daytime series All My Children, the Edge of Night

William Griffis' acting career spanned 5 decades with performances on radio, Broadway, film and television. He appeared on numerous radio broadcasts including Cavalcade of America, X Minus One, Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar and Theater Five. He appeared in a number of Broadway productions and films, but is best remembered for his appearances on TV's daytime soap operas, the Edge of Night, All My Children and Santa Barbara.
