I rate this episode ★★★★ for GOOD. Once again, this is 1 of the best adaptations I've heard from the CBSRMT series. This time, they got Russell Horton (as the Prosecutor) & Teri Keane (as Fantine) and both did likable French accents. Alexander Scourby (as Jean Valjean a.k.a. Mayor Monsieur Madeleine) & Bernard Grant (as Inspector Javert) played their parts well, of course. What I liked the most was the music that embellished compassion, retribution, & wretchedness to our characters. I'm looking forward to hear what happens next in Part 3: No Escape.

I love the "Les Miserables" 5 story set.

Thank radio theatre, I listen to this episode, twise a year!
