A story about multiple personality disorder -- something that's been a perennial favorite since the days of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and running through to "Sybil" and even the Who album "Quadrophenia." This episode is less noteworthy for its subject matter than it is for the performance by Marian Seldes. She's completely convincing both as the flirtatious, loquacious Jane and also as tightly-wound, guarded Vanity. Impressive.

Days of Broken Arrows

Good story, very entertaining

There is a small error in your synopsis. Jane/ Vanity moved into a gray house next door, not a flat. The gray house was also called in the episode a beach cottage and an old shack, but never a flat. I don't think anybody in America lives in a flat or a round or even a triangle.

A flat is an apartment, an incredibly common term, especially in NYC.

Crazy, wild love story set at the beach. Enjoy! Good acting and good sound quality.

Our protagonist was rather live struck idiot in my opinion. What man in his right mind would've stuck around a woman like that and married her! She'll kill him in his sleep or worse lol!
