A college professor comes into possession of a strange piece of art with an image that keeps changing, as if it is playing out scenes from an evolving story. He comes to realize that the engraving is trying to send a message of a crime from the past-- a crime which has implications for someone he knows in the present day. This story reminded me of the Roddy McDowell episode in the original "Night Gallery" tv movie. In the story, a murderer is terrorized by a painting with a shifting image that shows the murder victim coming to get his revenge. This CBSRMT episode is effectively creepy and present a good mystery. Genre - Supernatural
