"Man-Sized in Marble" sums up why I love CBSRMT. It's the perfect story to listen in the dark. Ian Martin does a great job building the uneasy feeling to the climax. Even though we know that something is going to happen, it doesn't ruin the suspense one bit. I give this story 4 stars.

Great episode! The accents aren't remotely Scottish.....at a push maybe somewhere in southern Ireland...although Fred Gwynne sounds like he comes from an as yet unidentified mid- Atlantic island. Still great entertainment though!

They forgot to give credit to the original author of this story . " Man-Size In Marble " was written by Edith Nesbit and published in 1893 . It is from her collection of ghost stories titled GRIM TALES .

☆☆☆☆ One of my favorites; excellent modern adaptation of the Edith Nesbit gothic horror short story (unfortunately not credited), marred only by several "skips" in sound quality. Tragic history and superstition surrounds an old church near a couple's vacation home in Scotland. Paul Hecht & Frances Sternhagen shine in this episode as well.
