Just wanted to say that this is a very nice site that you have put here. I used to listen to this radio show when I was a teenager and I bought all 1399 episodes on ebay a few years back. To this day this show makes you really use your imagination and the shows are very well done.

I can't see any point to this episode, and I don't think it is only because I'm not interested in auto racing. It seemed talky and dull. No moments of excitement or surprise.

With all the horror movies that come out every year, and all the racing movies in recent years(Ford vs Ferrari, F1... even going back to Days of Thunder in the early 1990s), i'm surprised nobody's thought to adapt this episode, or try something similar as a theatrical movie yet...
