According to the internets, Samuel H. Dann was born May 18, 1918, and died October 26, 2004, in Delray Beach, Florida, USA. He received a Writers Guild Award for his 1975 CBSRMT script, "Goodbye, Karl Erich."

I just stumbled onto this site/forum/whatever in looking to see if Sam was still alive. Happy to see he hasn't passed. His stories will live on for generations. His radio writings are incomparable and I am so glad to have been alive to listen to them. I do hope he realizes that we appreciate his ingenious writings. I hope Sam is still able to appreciate our comments. I have a complete (I think) RMT collection and am always glad when I hear an episode was written by Sam Dann.
