Proof once again, that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I enjoyed listening to the story, even though the ending wasn't very novel.

Eh, just alright. It is only logical that as time went on, Mystery Theater plots were some times less than original. Such is the case here.

Ok, Folks! I had commented previously that author Sam Dann had a Trilogy going, about a ne'er-do-well Charmer and his funny Indian Servant lackey played memorably by Earl Hammond: it's starts with "THE JATAKA", then listen second to "EYE OF THE IDOL", and finally, the best, "THE RANEE OF JAJPUTANA", for closure on our Charmer. But for closure on our damsel Heroine and the Indian Servant, the Fourth in what is really a Quadrilogy, is this episode "TWO SISTERS"!!! All rascals accounted for!! Give them a listen in this order!

I listened to an OTR Inner Sanctum Episode called "Two Sisters", from the 1940's, that was also produced by the late Himan Brown. I think most scripts, including this one, for CBS Radio Mystery Theater, were much better than those written and produced than those for Inner Sanctum radio show. Listen to both "Two Sisters" episodes- what do you think? Interestingly, besides this one, I don't think Himan Brown used very many stories from Inner Sanctum on Mystery Theater. Also, regarding OTR, I do think that the episodes written by Lucille Fletcher for Suspense radio show were superior to most others on any show.
