Plot

 A young but gifted detective and a seasoned but pompous one come together to solve a mysterious murder. The only clue is a burnt safety match found at the scene of the crime. But even with that sparing bit of evidence they achieve an astonishing progress - until everything stops making sense all of a sudden.

This is the second adaptation I've listened to from Chekov. And again, it is just a semi-zany murder mystery. 3 stars.

Ok story. Not a super mystery but above average with a bit of a twist ending

I am 83, and a retired actor/disc jockey and I was active when the Mystery theater was played on My station. now I find it wonderful to enjoy, and help me sleep!!! Thank you very much.
