Alex Hunter of Illinois is having trouble with his beautiful young wife. He's 55, she's 33. He fears her unfaithful and starts to feel that things might be better if she were dead. As it happens, some number of years ago Mr. Hunter served as the foreman of a jury that sent a man to prison. Now that man is out and feels that he has scores to settle. He approaches Mr. Hunter and tells him that he is going to kill him. All of this happens in the first few minutes of the program. There's a lot more action to come.

An older man, frustrated by his much younger wife’s infidelity has cooled to their relationship. At the same time, he is approached by an ex-con recently released on parole seeking revenge. In the past, the man served as foreman of they jury that sent this criminal to prison. Since his life is not progressing as he desires, his resistance to the criminal’s threats are baffling and the criminals plans to make him wait out his impending death are not having the desired effect.
